Dorman 604-455 Air Door Actuator - Mode HVAC Blend Door Actuator

The Dorman 604-455 Air Door Actuator - Mode is an HVAC mode door actuator, also called a blend door actuator. It is a direct replacement for the original air door actuator and helps restore proper heating and cooling airflow control. The mode door actuator is the small motor that moves the mode door. That door decides which vents the air comes out of, such as the defroster, dash or floor vents.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement: made to match the fit and function of the original air door actuator
• Position specific: vehicles often have several different HVAC door actuators, so check the application notes to confirm this part matches the location and function of the actuator you are replacing
• Mode door function: controls which vents receive airflow
• OE Solutions design: Dorman - OE Solutions part, built to restore original HVAC operation

If your climate control is clicking, stuck on one vent setting, or no longer switching between airflow modes, a failed mode door actuator is a common cause. Replacing it can restore normal airflow selection.
