Moroso 68526 Valve Cover Hold Down Tabs Steel - Big Block Chevy Blue Powder Coated Set

The Moroso 68526 valve cover hold down tabs are specifically designed for Big Block Chevy engines and include four 3-inch tabs and three 4-inch tabs with 5/16-inch diameter holes in a set that fits one valve cover. These tabs feature a durable blue powder coat steel construction that provides both protection and a clean, finished appearance under the hood.

Key Features:

• Specifically designed to spread the fastener load over a larger area of the valve cover to eliminate flange distortion and subsequent oil leakage
• Tabs stiffen the area around the bolt hole for a leakproof seal
• Helps avoid warped valve cover flanges
• Blue powder coated steel finish for corrosion resistance and style
• 5/16-inch diameter mounting holes

These hold down tabs are an essential upgrade for high-performance Big Block Chevy builds where maintaining proper valve cover sealing is critical. By distributing clamping forces more evenly across the valve cover flange, these tabs prevent the warping and distortion that commonly leads to oil leaks in modified engines.
