The Manley 23691-16 is a high-performance titanium valve spring retainer designed for Super 7 degree valve spring applications with +.050" installed height. This retainer is engineered for 1.580-1.610" diameter springs with 1.150" outer spring ID and .825" inner spring ID.

  • CNC machined from special heat-treated 6AL 4V titanium alloy

These retainers are made of extremely tough, yet lightweight, heat-treated titanium that can stand up to the abuse of high performance engines. The +.050" installed height variation allows for precise valvetrain geometry adjustment in racing and high-performance applications.

Good parts. I was a little surprised by the part numbers, as they did not match the mercedes numbers that I used to order. When I went back to the original mercedes part, it has the same Beru numbers that match. Therefore, I believe it is an exact replacement, though it does not have the mercedes numbers.
