The COMP Cams Xtreme Energy CL21-226-4 is a complete hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit engineered specifically for Chrysler 383-440 big block V8 engines. This performance camshaft delivers a significant step up from stock, providing improved throttle response, increased mid-range torque, and enhanced horsepower across a broad RPM range.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 268°/274° (Intake/Exhaust)
  • Duration at .050": 224°/230° (Intake/Exhaust)
  • Valve Lift: .477"/.480" (Intake/Exhaust) with 1.5:1 rocker ratio

Upgraded valve springs are required for proper installation.

This was my first order with Autoplicity. Their prices were great, and the ordering process very easy. I was a little frustrated at first, as the order didn't arrive as expected. When I called, it took a little work, but I finally got the info that it was shipping from the manufacturer, and did get the tracking info. The parts arrived when tracking said it should.
