Schoenfeld 179-1 SBC 180 Degree Crossover Headers 1-5/8 Primary

The Schoenfeld 179-1 is a high-performance 180-degree crossover header designed specifically for small block Chevrolet (SBC) engines. This racing header features 1-5/8 inch diameter primary tubes, making it ideal for high-RPM naturally aspirated applications where maximum exhaust scavenging is critical.

Key Features:

• 180-degree crossover design for superior exhaust scavenging and power
• 1-5/8 inch primary tube diameter optimized for racing applications
• Engineered for small block Chevrolet V8 engines
• Crossover configuration improves cylinder-to-cylinder scavenging
• Constructed from high-quality steel tubing for durability
• Designed for racing and high-performance street applications

The 180-degree header design routes exhaust pulses to opposite collector sides, creating optimal scavenging effects that help pull exhaust gases from adjacent cylinders. This configuration is particularly effective in applications where maximum power output is the primary goal. Schoenfeld headers are a trusted choice in circle track racing, drag racing, and serious performance builds.
