Gates 24837 Molded Radiator Coolant Hose

The Gates 24837 is a precision-engineered molded coolant hose designed to provide OEM-quality cooling system performance. This pre-shaped radiator hose is manufactured to exact specifications for upper, lower, bypass, heater, or other coolant applications, offering a direct replacement solution that saves time and money compared to dealer alternatives.

Key Features:

• Pre-molded design ensures proper fit and perfectly sealed conditions
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• EPDM construction with aramid or rayon knit reinforcement for superior durability
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications
• Resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants
• Approved for marine applications
• Engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs

Gates molded coolant hoses are part of the most comprehensive line on the replacement market, providing reliable protection against leakage and engine damage. The advanced EPDM compound resists corrosion from the inside out, while the reinforced construction delivers high burst strength and extended service life. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance.
