Product Details

The CRP 00963400 Drum Brake Self-Adjuster Cable is a precision-engineered replacement component designed to restore proper automatic adjustment functionality to drum brake systems. This cable connects the adjuster lever mechanism to the anchor pin, enabling the self-adjusting system to automatically compensate for brake shoe wear and maintain optimal brake pedal height.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for worn, stretched, or frayed original equipment cables
  • Constructed from durable materials for long-lasting performance and corrosion resistance
  • Restores proper self-adjuster operation to maintain consistent brake shoe-to-drum clearance
  • Helps prevent low brake pedal conditions caused by failed adjustment mechanisms
  • Precision-manufactured to match OEM specifications for reliable fit and function

Over time, self-adjuster cables can become stretched, frayed, or corroded, preventing the automatic adjustment mechanism from functioning properly. Replacing a worn cable restores the system's ability to automatically adjust brake shoe position as linings wear, ensuring consistent braking performance and proper brake pedal feel. CRP is a trusted name in automotive brake components, offering quality replacement parts for professional technicians and DIY mechanics.
