Product Details

The Cometic C15259-040 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V8 engines. This left-hand side (LHS) gasket features a 92mm bore diameter and .040" compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and applications requiring enhanced sealing capability.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 92mm bore diameter optimized for stock and mild performance applications
  • .040" compressed thickness provides excellent conformability
  • Left-hand side (LHS) design for proper engine assembly
  • Engineered for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V8 engines
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with Viton rubber coating
  • Resists blowout and withstands extreme cylinder pressures

Cometic MLX gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with an embossed design that allows the gasket to conform to imperfections in the sealing surface. The Viton rubber coating enhances sealing while resisting chemicals and high temperatures. This gasket is designed to handle the demands of both street and performance applications, providing reliable compression sealing for modified or stock Modular V8 engines.

SO FAR SO GOOD WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW LONG GROUND SHIP IS

very enjoyable!

This was my first time shopping with Autoplicity after finding them on a froogle.com (google shopping) search for low priced Hawk brake pads. The shopping experience was great, checkout was smooth, and the prices were unbeatable. I only give five stars for perfect experiences, and this was almost there. My only gripe is the order was placed on Friday and not shipped until Tuesday, with the shipping confirmation email going out Wednesday. I guess I'm spoiled by Amazon same/next day shipping and instant notifications. It would seem the notification issue could be fixed easily... Thanks Autoplicity - I'll be back!

easy to find items and check out. So far so good
