Product Details

The Gates 24249 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is manufactured to fit upper, lower, bypass, heater and other coolant applications with OEM-quality specifications, delivering a reliable replacement for your vehicle's cooling system. This factory-molded, OEM style hose is designed to fit today's smaller, tighter-fitting engine compartments.

Key Features:

  • EPDM rubber construction with centerline length of 17-13/16 inches (452mm)
  • End 1 inside diameter: 1-5/16 inch (33mm); End 2 inside diameter: 1-7/16 inch (37mm)
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation - the leading cause of hose failure
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum
  • Pre-shaped to fit and ensure perfectly sealed connections
  • Temperature rating: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
  • Suitable for coolant, water and air applications; approved for marine applications

Gates' molded coolant hose line is the most comprehensive line on the replacement market, providing OE-quality performance at aftermarket value. Note: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Not for use with fuel or oil transfer applications.
