GPD 5811310 #10 A/C Spring Lock Coupling Garter Spring 10-Pack

The GPD 5811310 is a #10 A/C Spring Lock Coupling Garter Spring, sold in a convenient 10-piece pack. These replacement garter springs are a critical service component for automotive air conditioning systems that use spring lock couplings on refrigerant lines.

How It Works:

The A/C spring lock coupling is a refrigerant line coupling held together by a garter spring inside a circular cage. When the coupling is connected, the flared end of the female fitting locks behind the garter spring inside the cage of the male fitting, holding the connection secure and preventing refrigerant leaks. Garter springs are considered a single-use component and should be replaced any time a spring lock coupling is disconnected and reconnected.

Key Features:

• Replacement garter springs for #10 (5/8 in.) spring lock couplings
• Pack of 10 springs — ideal for shop use or multiple repairs
• Compatible with R-12, R-134a, and R-1234yf refrigerant systems depending on application
• Designed to meet or exceed OEM fit, form, and function
• Durability tested on every new design
• Direct-fit, application-specific replacement
