The NGK 48652 COP ignition coil (also listed as stock number U5038) is a coil-on-plug replacement ignition coil, also called a spark plug coil or engine coil. It is built to meet or exceed OE standards for durability and operating performance. It mounts directly over the spark plug, so no spark plug wires are needed. It delivers consistent, high-energy spark for reliable starts and smooth engine performance.
