Standard Motor Products VVT162 Variable Valve Timing Solenoid

The Standard Motor Products VVT162 is a direct-fit OE replacement variable valve timing (VVT) solenoid designed to restore proper engine performance and efficiency. This solenoid controls oil flow to the camshaft timing system, allowing the engine computer to advance or retard valve timing based on engine speed and load conditions.

Key Features:

• Hard anodized steel componentry resists sticking during sludge buildup for extended service life
• Premium O-rings and gaskets included to prevent premature oil leaks
• Direct-fit OE replacement design ensures proper installation and performance
• Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Restores engine horsepower and torque curves while reducing emissions
• 100% end-of-line tested for quality assurance

This VVT solenoid is compatible with select Toyota and Scion models including Echo, Prius, Yaris, xA, and xB vehicles. Variable valve timing solenoids can fail due to low engine oil levels or irregular oil changes, so proper maintenance is essential for long-term performance.
