The Dayco 87977 is a small I.D. molded heater hose designed to replace OEM coolant hose in applications requiring precision-molded configurations in small diameters (1 inch I.D. or smaller). This dual I.D. heater hose eliminates the need for multiple connections of straight hoses and clamps, providing a clean, factory-style installation.

Key Features:

• Knitted reinforcement and synthetic EPDM rubber construction for high strength and durability
• Resists detrimental environmental elements, coolants, and temperature extremes from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
• Meets SAE J20R4 Class D-1 requirements and SAE J1684 Type EC electro-chemical specifications
• Pre-molded configuration ensures precise fit and proper coolant flow routing
• Available with quick-connect fittings for fast, convenient installation where applicable
• Designed to prevent splitting, ballooning, and premature failure

This heater hose is engineered to deliver reliable performance in demanding automotive HVAC applications, providing secure coolant flow from the heater core to the engine cooling system. The molded design ensures proper routing and fitment without the compromises of universal straight hoses.
