MAHLE CB634P Connecting Rod Bearing Set Ford Small Block V8

The MAHLE CB634P is a P-Series connecting rod bearing set designed for Ford small block V8 engines including 221, 255, 260, 289, and 302 cubic inch (3.6L, 4.2L, 4.3L, 4.7L, 5.0L) applications from 1962-2001. This standard size bearing set provides reliable performance for engine rebuilds and restorations.

P-Series Construction Features:

• Steel-backed tri-metal construction with TM-77 material specification
• Intermediate layer of copper-lead alloy for superior load capacity
• Electroplated lead-tin-copper overlay for excellent conformability
• Extra-thin overlay design optimized for high-revving engines
• High eccentricity and crush factor to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
• Dowel holes in lower sections for use with aluminum connecting rods

The P-Series bearings are the most versatile replacement option in the Clevite 77 performance bearing family, suitable for most OE applications. These bearings are ideal for rebuilding engines where more demanding use is anticipated, including heavy-duty service, motorsports, and street performance applications.

Application Note: This is a standard size bearing with housing bore specifications of 2.239-2.240 inches. Various undersize options are available separately for reground crankshafts.
