Genuine BMW 13-62-7-808-013 Exhaust Backpressure Sensor

The Genuine BMW 13-62-7-808-013 Exhaust Backpressure Sensor is a critical emissions system component designed to monitor exhaust pressure before the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This sensor continuously measures exhaust flow pressure and transmits real-time data to the Engine Control Unit (ECU), enabling precise adjustments for optimal performance and reduced emissions.

Key Features:

• Genuine BMW OEM part ensuring exact fit and function
• Also known as Differential Pressure Sensor for DPF monitoring
• Engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh exhaust conditions
• Precision-manufactured to BMW's rigorous quality standards
• Includes 2-year BMW manufacturer warranty
• Direct replacement for BMW part numbers 7808013 and 780801301

Function and Benefits:

This exhaust pressure sensor plays a vital role in diesel engine performance by constantly monitoring differential pressure at the DPF. The ECU uses this data to make real-time adjustments that improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper engine power output, and ensure compliance with emissions standards. A failing sensor can trigger limp mode, reduced throttle response, loss of power, harder engine starts, and decreased fuel economy.

Quality Assurance:

As a Genuine BMW component, this sensor undergoes the same rigorous testing and quality control as the original equipment installed at the factory. The precision engineering ensures all components work together seamlessly for maximum safety, performance, and longevity.
