Product Details

The Gates 24726 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an advanced OE-quality replacement coolant hose assembly designed for modern cooling systems. Unlike traditional molded hoses, this modular hose features integrated components built directly into the assembly, including a branch connector and quick-connect fitting for precise, leak-free installation.

Key Features:

  • EPDM rubber tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
  • Heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse without requiring internal springs
  • Manufactured with OEM-exact components including branch connector and quick-connect fittings
  • 49.5-inch centerline length with 3/4-inch (20mm) inside diameter at both ends
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 standards
  • Backed by 1-year limited warranty

Construction and Materials: This modular coolant hose assembly features a robust construction using EPDM rubber, steel, and plastic components. The synthetic fiber reinforcement provides exceptional strength while maintaining flexibility, and the specially-formulated EPDM compound resists the electrochemical reactions that cause premature hose failure in modern cooling systems.

Important Installation Notes: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing. Do not use this product for fuel or oil transfer applications. Always verify proper fitment before installation.

VERY GOOD

Fast service

Not only was it the lowest price on the net, the Amazon sign-in saved valuable time and ensured they were reliable. What impressed me even more was the delivery time, I've already gotten it! I did NOT expect to receive my air filter this quickly!
