The Ksport BKHD032-611SO Procomp Big Brake Kit delivers a dramatic upgrade in stopping performance over factory brakes. Engineered with advanced brake technology, this bolt-on system significantly reduces brake fade while continuously cooling and refreshing the brake pad surface under hard braking — making it equally capable on the street and the track.

Aircraft-Grade Billet Aluminum Caliper

The lightweight one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore configuration. Each caliper weighs just over 5 lbs and includes machined-in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. The opposed piston design provides superior pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM calipers. Standard on every caliper: aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates.

2-Piece Floating Rotor Design

This kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating outer disc section is engineered to shift slightly as needed, allowing for better self-centering in the caliper — reducing brake drag and improving braking consistency. The floating design also prevents thermal stress from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat.

Slotted Rotor Technology

The unique slot pattern on the rotor minimizes braking noise while expelling gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional slot designs. Every rotor is heat treated and dynamically balanced prior to shipment for optimum performance and longevity. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see frequent track use, while cross-drilled rotors (available separately) are the preferred choice for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures.

DOT-Compliant Stainless-Steel Brake Lines

D.O.T.-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included as standard equipment. These lines eliminate expansion under pressure, delivering a firmer pedal feel and quicker pedal response compared to OEM rubber lines.

Brake Pad Options: The included Ksport SC5 NAOC ceramic street pads are optimized for street and occasional track use with an operating temperature range of 194°F – 1,022°F, and reduce brake dust by 50% or more compared to race compounds. An upgrade to Ksport RC1 carbon metallic race pads is available for dedicated track applications (482°F – 1,472°F operating range — not recommended for street use).
