MAHLE 3150060.030 Plasma-Moly Performance Piston Ring Set Bore - 4.030

The MAHLE 3150060.030 Clevite Performance Piston Ring Set delivers OE-quality construction with race-proven technology for high-performance engine builds. Designed for 4.030" bore applications (0.030" oversize), this premium ring set features plasma-moly coated compression rings for superior durability and wear resistance under demanding operating conditions.

Key Features:

• Plasma-moly face coating on top compression ring provides excellent wear resistance and faster break-in
• Barrel-faced top ring design maintains optimal cylinder wall contact as the piston rocks at TDC and BDC
• Napier taper hook groove (THG) second compression ring delivers superior oil control and sealing
• 3-piece oil control ring with stainless steel expander and chrome-faced steel rails for high conformability
• High-strength ductile iron and carbon steel construction for durability
• Precision-ground for trouble-free installation and optimal compression sealing
• Manufactured under strict quality controls to meet or exceed OE specifications

MAHLE pioneered the use of piston ring simulation and computer development to create rings that minimize friction and provide "free" horsepower. Their ultra-flat ring flanks maximize ring-to-piston sealing while reducing oil consumption and extending service life.
