MAHLE 3150071.015 Plasma-Moly Piston Ring Set

The MAHLE 3150071.015 is a high-performance plasma-moly piston ring set engineered for demanding applications. This oversize ring set features advanced materials and coatings designed to deliver superior durability and sealing performance in high-output engines.

Key Features:

• Plasma-moly steel top ring construction with SAE 9254 steel for ultimate tensile strength, hardness, and fatigue resistance
• Proprietary plasma face coating extends ring life and eliminates ring breakage
• Reduced side wear and minimized groove pound out problems
• Smaller cross-section design allows for lower ring mass and better tolerance of inertial forces
• Improved conformability to cylinder bore distortion in high RPM engines
• File-fit design for precise end gap adjustment
• Low tension configuration reduces friction for increased horsepower

MAHLE's plasma-moly ring technology combines advanced metallurgy with precision manufacturing to deliver rings that seal more effectively, resist wear under extreme conditions, and contribute to reduced emissions through improved combustion efficiency. The lighter ring design maintains optimal sealing against the ring groove even at high engine speeds.
