MAHLE 3150053.005 Performance Piston Ring Set +.005" Oversize File Fit

The MAHLE 3150053.005 is a Performance Piston Ring Set with a +.005" oversize bore specification, designed for high-output and performance engine applications. Part of the MAHLE Original performance ring line, this set is engineered to deliver superior sealing, reduced oil consumption, and extended engine life under demanding conditions.

Key Features:

• Plasma-moly face coating on the top ring for exceptional wear resistance, scuff resistance, and extended service life
• SAE 9254 steel construction combined with proprietary plasma face coating to eliminate ring breakage and minimize groove pound-out
• Reduced ring cross-section allows the top ring groove to be positioned closer to the piston crown, reducing crevice volume and unburned fuel emissions
• Lower ring mass improves tolerance of inertial forces and ensures consistent sealing against the bottom of the ring groove
• File-fit design allows precise end-gap tuning for specific engine builds and compression targets
• +.005" oversize bore sizing for use with slightly worn or bored cylinder applications
• Compatible with high-RPM, high-compression performance and racing engine applications

MAHLE piston rings are developed using advanced ring simulation and computer modeling tools to minimize friction and maximize cylinder sealing efficiency. The 3150053.005 ring set is built to exceed the demands of performance street and competition engines, delivering consistent results on the dyno and on the track.
