MAHLE 3150051 Plasma-Moly Low Tension Piston Ring Set 4.000" Bore

The MAHLE 3150051 is a high-performance plasma-moly piston ring set engineered for racing applications including Chevrolet small block 302, 327, and 350 engines, Chrysler race 360 engines, and Ford race engines. This professional-grade ring set features a 4.000-inch standard bore with 5/64", 5/64", 3/16" ring widths and low tension design for reduced friction and increased horsepower.

Key Features:

• Plasma-moly inlaid barrel-faced top ring for instant break-in and superior cylinder wall contact
• Napier THG (Tapered Hook Groove) second compression ring provides exceptional oil control by scraping cylinder walls and creating an oil reservoir on each down stroke
• CP-20 oil control ring with exclusive 20-degree ear angle for optimal cylinder wall seal
• Low tension design minimizes friction for "free" horsepower gains
• Reduced radial wall thickness and carbon steel construction for lighter weight and improved conformability
• Engineered to withstand high RPM, high compression ratios, and extreme operating temperatures

MAHLE's advanced piston ring simulation and computer development tools have created rings that successfully minimize friction while maximizing ring-to-piston sealing. Recommended for street, racing, or marine applications where performance and durability are critical. Ring set includes 8 cylinders.
