Product Details

The MAHLE 3010237 Plain Ring Set is a precision-engineered piston ring set designed for high-performance engine applications requiring a 4.255-inch bore diameter. This set features .017-inch Dykes-style top rings, which provide superior combustion sealing and reduced blow-by in demanding racing and performance applications.

Key Features:

  • 4.255-inch bore diameter for precise fitment
  • .017-inch thick Dykes-style top compression rings for maximum sealing
  • Plain ring design without coatings for specific engine requirements
  • PC479 specification top rings engineered for performance applications
  • Manufactured by MAHLE to OE quality standards
  • Ideal for custom engine builds and performance rebuilds

Dykes-style rings feature an L-shaped cross-section that creates a dynamic sealing action under combustion pressure, making them popular in racing engines where maximum ring seal is critical. MAHLE's precision manufacturing ensures consistent ring tension, proper sealing, and long service life even under extreme operating conditions.
