MAHLE 3010984B Performance Piston Ring Set Bore Plasma-Moly Steel - 4.140in 1.5mm

The MAHLE 3010984B is a high-performance piston ring set engineered for serious engine builds requiring precision sealing and reduced friction. Designed for a 4.140-inch bore diameter, this ring set features a metric 1.5mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm configuration with advanced materials and coatings optimized for racing and high-performance street applications.

Key Features:

• 4.140-inch bore diameter with 0.151-inch radial wall thickness
• Premium plasma-molybdenum coated steel top compression ring for superior wear resistance
• 1.5mm top ring and 1.5mm second ring for reduced friction and weight
• 3.0mm oil control ring assembly for optimal oil management
• Positive-twist ductile iron barrel-faced design maximizes ring-to-cylinder sealing
• Plasma-moly coating provides excellent oil retention and fast break-in characteristics
• Ultra-flat ring flanks ensure superior ring-to-piston groove sealing
• File-fit design allows precise end gap adjustment for your specific application

MAHLE performance rings are developed using advanced piston ring simulation and computer modeling to minimize friction losses while maintaining exceptional sealing performance. The plasma-moly coating is heat-resistant with controlled porosity that improves lubrication and promotes rapid conformability to the cylinder bore surface. This ring set is ideal for high-performance street engines, road racing, and sportsman-class competition applications where durability and consistent sealing are critical.
