Product Details

The MAHLE 3010231B Clevite Plain Piston Ring Set delivers reliable sealing performance for engine rebuilds and overhauls. MAHLE Clevite piston rings are application engineered and pre-lapped to seat immediately, minimizing break-in time and ensuring optimal cylinder sealing from the start.

Key Features:

  • Each ring is lapped to be "light tight," assuring the best possible seal and seating action with the least amount of friction
  • Designed to exacting specifications to seal combustion gases and prevent lubricating oil from entering the combustion area
  • Comprehensive selection consisting of cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, and moly coated rings
  • Reduced friction and extended life obtained by optimizing ring materials, tension, and coatings for each application
  • Plain ring design for standard OE replacement applications

MAHLE continues their long standing commitment to building rings that last longer and stand up to more abuse, making this ring set a reliable choice for professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts seeking quality engine components.
