MAHLE 3000494 Piston Ring Set 3.2457" Bore 1.5mm Chrome Ductile

The MAHLE 3000494 Performance Piston Ring Set is engineered for high-performance engines requiring a 3.2457 inch bore diameter. This precision-manufactured ring set features MAHLE's advanced ring technology designed to minimize friction while maximizing compression seal and durability.

Key Features:

• 3.2457 inch (82.44mm) bore diameter for precise cylinder fit
• 1.5mm edge width top compression ring with chrome-plated ductile iron construction
• Positive twist barrel-faced design for immediate seating and consistent cylinder wall contact
• Reverse twist taper-faced cast iron second compression ring for superior groove sealing
• Standard tension oil control ring optimized for extended service life
• Pre-lapped rings virtually eliminate break-in time
• CNC-controlled gap chamfer reduces blowby and optimizes compression

MAHLE's chrome ductile iron top rings provide excellent wear resistance and scuff protection under high-temperature, high-RPM conditions. The barrel-faced contact area ensures efficient compression while maintaining optimal contact as the piston rocks at top and bottom dead center. This ring set is ideal for performance street engines, sportsman racing applications, and engine rebuilds demanding reliable, race-proven technology.
