Product Details

The Teleflex SS15117 SeaStar Solutions No Feedback Rack and Pinion Steering Kit delivers professional-grade steering control for single outboard applications. This complete single-cable system combines Teleflex's patented No FeedBack technology with the precision of rack and pinion engineering, eliminating torque feedback from the engine while providing precise helm response. The kit serves as a direct drop-in replacement for Teleflex "The Rack" systems.

Key Features:

  • Patented No FeedBack steering mechanism eliminates torque feedback and steering kickback
  • Precise 4-turn lock-to-lock steering ratio for responsive control
  • Back mount design allows helm and cable installation as single unit from behind dash
  • Minimal clutch free play for improved steering feel
  • Standard 3/4" round tapered steering shaft accepts most marine steering wheels
  • Stainless steel cable output ends for corrosion resistance
  • Meets ABYC standards and NMMA certification requirements

Applications: Designed for most single-station boats with a single non-power-assisted outboard engine up to V-6 displacement with minimal engine flutter or steering instability. Accepts steering wheels up to 16" diameter. The back mount design simplifies installation and replaces standard Teleflex/SeaStar Solutions rack steering without requiring dash modifications.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • SH5230P No FeedBack Helm unit
  • SB39544P 90-degree Bezel Kit
  • SSC134XX Steering Cable

Important Note: SSC124XX old style rack cables are NOT compatible with this system and cannot be used.

Seem to have great price on what I was looking for.

I am let down because the price went up $20 since I looked at sliders on Sunday. I would appreciate if you could honor the $297 I saw on Sunday. Thanks

Good so far

Shipping changed from 7 dollars to 9 dollars.
