Product Details

The Four Seasons 37242 is an HVAC harness connector designed to connect the vehicle's electrical system to the blower motor resistor. This rectangular-shaped connector features a spade-type terminal design that ensures reliable electrical connection in your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system.

Key Features:

  • Re-engineered with TXL copper wiring to withstand high electric current and prevent burning out and melting
  • High-temp plastic harness and heavy-duty mating connections withstand extreme temperatures to prevent melting
  • Can be used as a pigtail if the original harness is melted
  • Splice color coded lead wires easily into wiring harness using available crimping tools to repair broken or corroded connections
  • Seven-terminal female connector configuration

The HVAC blower motor resistor connector connects power from the vehicle's electrical system through the wiring harness to the blower motor resistor, which controls the blower motor's speed by altering the amount of electrical resistance and current. Over time, the connector may become worn, loose, or corroded, preventing the blower motor from receiving adequate power to operate. This replacement connector restores full HVAC functionality and eliminates intermittent fan operation issues.
