Product Details

The Bendix SBM1693 is a semi-metallic front brake pad set from the Stop by Bendix line, engineered to deliver safe, consistent, and reliable stopping performance. Formulated with a high-performance semi-metallic compound, these pads offer excellent stopping power and high-temperature resistance across a wide range of driving conditions.

Bendix designs these brake pads to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function — so you get a direct-fit replacement without compromise. Each set is rigorously tested at an independent, third-party brake evaluation facility to ensure performance meets or exceeds industry standards.

Key Features:

  • Semi-Metallic Friction Compound: Provides strong, consistent stopping power and excellent resistance to brake fade under high heat
  • Burnishing Strip Technology: Proprietary burnishing strips accelerate the brake pad break-in process, maximizing surface contact between the pad and rotor from the start
  • Multi-Layer Shims Included: Helps dampen noise and vibration for quieter operation
  • Hardware Included: Complete set includes necessary hardware where applicable for a straightforward installation
  • OE-Quality Standards: Vehicle platform-specific friction formulations meet or exceed OE standards of fit, form, and function

Part of Bendix's trusted Premium brake line — a comprehensive offering of brake pads, rotors, and drums covering the vast majority of vehicles in North America. Backed by Bendix's long history of brake engineering excellence dating back to 1924.

I ordered once and the order was lost if this works it will be nice second order went through products showed up on time works great

I just received my order, I was expecting it on Saturday so that was a nice surprise. I will have to install it in my car and then finish my comments. Then I will let you know the rest of the story. Thank you.

For this being my fist time using your site. I thought it was a smooth site to shop and find my products and than place my order. I also liked the price.

Easy and fast checkout

Easy enough

Product shipped in 3 days, but customer service did not know when I contacted on the 4th day. Received shipping confirmation on 5th day. Otherwise, smooth transaction, product arrived well packaged and fit perfectly. Great price.

So far so good now to see when it arrives

It was ok

Pretty easy

I think I had to remind them to ship my item but once I did it shipped the next day. The package had the wrong label on it so I wondered if I got the right item but I did and all is well.

Ordered Friday and received the shipment Tuesday. Excellent price. The product was exactly as ordered and arrived in good condition. The checkout process at autoplicity.com is incompatible with nonmainstream browsers. No joy even with java, javascript, referrer logging and cookies all enabled. Finally I placed the order over the phone. Ten minutes later I received acknowledgments for two identical orders, 8961 and 8965. I phoned and asked them to cancel one of the duplicate orders. Four hours later I receive an e-mail saying my order 8961 was canceled for one of four possible reasons, none of which was "We canceled your order that was accidentally duplicated." So I had to phone again (phone is more effective with autoplicity than e-mail or chat) to see whether they had canceled one or both orders. The excellent price was offset by the communication hassle. If you prefer not to use IE or Thunderbird or Chrome, then skip the checkout hassle by placing your order by phone.
