The NGK 22012 oxygen sensor (also called an O2 sensor or air/fuel sensor) is a direct-fit, heated, narrow-band replacement sensor made by NTK, NGK's sensor brand. It sends constant closed-loop feedback to the engine computer (ECU). This helps control the air-fuel ratio. It also alerts the OBDII system to problems with fuel delivery or catalytic converter efficiency.
