Gates 24209 Molded Radiator Coolant Hose

The Gates 24209 Molded Coolant Hose is a pre-shaped, OEM-quality replacement radiator hose engineered for precise fit and reliable performance. This factory-molded hose is designed to meet original equipment specifications, ensuring proper coolant flow and sealed connections in your vehicle's cooling system.

Key Features:

• Pre-shaped molded design for exact OEM fit and easy installation
• EPDM tube and cover construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Heat and ozone resistant materials for long service life
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications
• Marine application approved

Gates molded coolant hoses are manufactured with advanced EPDM compounds that resist the electrochemical degradation that occurs when coolant, hose material, and metal fittings create a galvanic reaction. This superior resistance helps prevent micro-cracks, coolant seepage, and premature hose failure. The pre-shaped design ensures perfectly sealed conditions and eliminates the need for custom bending or fitting.
