The Scat 25700 Pro Stock I-beam connecting rods incorporate all of the best features possible for an I-beam rod, including some strength-adders found in H-beam designs. These connecting rods are machined from high-tensile 4340 forged material and then clearanced for stroker engines, making them ideal for high-performance small block Chevy applications.

  • 5.700 inch center-to-center length
  • Forged 4340 steel construction with I-beam design
  • 2.100 inch rod journal diameter with 2.2250 inch big end bore diameter
  • 0.927 inch pin end bore diameter with floating wrist pin style
  • ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screw bolts with 12-point heads, 3/8 inch diameter, 180,000 psi tensile strength
  • One-rib cap design for added strength and bearing support with special hollow dowels
  • 0.940 inch big end width with cap screw retention style
  • Sold as a weight-matched set of 8
  • Bushed pin end for floating wrist pin applications

With increased strength and a lightweight I-beam design, these connecting rods offer more to improve horsepower than factory units or stock replacements. The special doweled cap design provides perfect cap-to-rod alignment resulting in increased strength and longer life, and is designed for increased power and quicker RPMs.

Note: Custom pistons are required when using connecting rods with any length other than OE length.
