The Scat 25700716 Pro Comp I-beam connecting rods incorporate the best features possible for an I-beam rod, including strength adders found in H-beam designs. Manufactured from premium 4340 forged steel, these connecting rods are precision-finished to ensure maximum strength and durability for high-performance Small Block Chevy engines.

Key Features:

  • One-rib cap design for added strength and bearing support
  • Polished beams to eliminate stress risers
  • Special hollow dowels with huge 7/16 inch ARP cap screw bolts to greatly increase strength and horsepower capabilities
  • 8740 chromoly steel bolts with 180,000 psi tensile strength and 12-point heads
  • Profiled with clearance for long stroke and stroker applications
  • Weight matched set at approximately 590 grams per rod
