Fram AP3922 Platinum Spark Plug

The AP3922 is a platinum spark plug engineered for improved performance and extended service life. This spark plug features a center wire platinum firing tip that delivers precision firing while preventing gap erosion, resulting in fewer misfires and enhanced durability compared to standard copper plugs.

Key Features:

• Platinum firing tip prevents gap erosion for longer plug life
• Necked-down center electrode fires quicker and cleaner with less voltage
• High nickel alloy side electrode resists electrical and chemical wear to maintain precise gap
• Super conductive yttrium-enhanced ground electrode provides superior heat transfer
• High alumina ceramic insulator delivers thermal conductivity and superior insulation
• Multi-rib insulator design prevents flash-over
• Nickel-plated shell resists corrosion for extended durability
• Leak-proof, heat-fused resistor for added stability
• Copper core improves resistance to fouling

This platinum spark plug delivers easier starts, quicker acceleration, and improved fuel economy versus standard plugs. The full platinum tip virtually eliminates gap erosion, ensuring consistent performance throughout the life of the plug. Torque specifications: Cast iron heads 26-29 lb-ft, aluminum heads 15-22 lb-ft.
