True Tech Ignition LX-302T Distributor Ignition Pickup

The True Tech Ignition LX-302T is a replacement distributor ignition pickup designed for electronic ignition systems. This magnetic pickup sensor serves as a critical component in the distributor assembly, generating the trigger signal that controls ignition timing and spark delivery.

How It Works:

The LX-302T uses magnetic pickup technology, featuring copper windings wrapped around a permanent magnet core. As the distributor shaft rotates, the reluctor wheel's tabs pass by the magnetic pickup, creating pulses in the magnetic field. These voltage pulses are sent to the ignition control module, which uses them to precisely time when the ignition coil fires, ensuring optimal engine performance.

Key Features:

• Manufactured with copper windings and permanent magnets for strong, reliable signal emission
• Direct replacement for worn or failed original equipment pickups
• Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Provides accurate trigger signals for precise ignition timing
• Essential for diagnosing crank-but-no-start conditions related to ignition pickup failure

Applications:

This pickup is compatible with various GM applications and replaces OEM part numbers including 1875981, 19106480, 19110912, and others. It crosses to Standard Motor Products reference numbers LX-302 and LX302T.

When electronic ignition systems fail to produce spark, a faulty distributor pickup is often the culprit. The LX-302T provides a cost-effective solution that restores ignition function without requiring a complete distributor replacement.
