Product Details

The True Tech Ignition SLS-242T Stoplight Switch is a direct-replacement brake light switch designed to restore proper brake light operation and related vehicle safety systems. This essential safety component activates your brake lights when the brake pedal is pressed, alerting drivers behind you that you are slowing or stopping to help prevent rear-end collisions.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement designed to meet original equipment specifications for form, fit, and function
  • Activates brake lights when pedal is depressed for proper safety signaling
  • Sends signal to vehicle computer to enable cruise control disengagement and shift interlock function
  • Mounted near brake pedal assembly for reliable mechanical actuation
  • Manufactured to Standard Motor Products quality standards for dependable performance

A faulty brake light switch can cause brake lights to fail, prevent shifting out of park, disable cruise control, or trigger dashboard warning lights. This replacement switch restores proper operation of these critical safety systems. Compatible with select Honda and Acura vehicles including Civic, Accord, CR-V, Pilot, Ridgeline, MDX, RSX, ILX, and others.
