Product Details

The True Tech Ignition SLS-259T is a premium brake light switch (stoplight switch) engineered to original equipment specifications for reliable performance. This switch is part of the Tru-Tech collection from Standard Motor Products, a leading manufacturer of engine management and electrical components.

Key Features:

  • Brass or high-impact composite housing designed for maximum performance and durability under harsh under-hood conditions
  • Special-design spring and contact arrangement reduces arcing for extended service life
  • Copper alloy conductors ensure superior electrical conductivity with minimal resistive losses
  • 100% tested to verify both mechanical and electrical switching performance
  • Manufactured to OE specifications for precise fit and function
  • TS16949 and ISO9001 certified manufacturing ensures quality control throughout production

The brake light switch is a critical safety component that activates your vehicle's brake lights when the brake pedal is pressed. A malfunctioning switch can cause brake lights to fail, creating a safety hazard and potentially preventing vehicle starting in models equipped with brake-to-start safety systems. This True Tech replacement ensures proper brake light operation and reliable performance.

Not only was it the cheapest price, but they had the fastest and lowest price shipping, and best customer service. Thanks Autoplicity!

I needed two fairly expensive parts for a project. Naturally, I shopped everywhere before deciding on where to purchase them. Autoplicity had the best price on the carburetor. I continued shopping around for the alternator, and ended up right back at the Autoplicity website, because they beat everyone else on that price also! And I don't mean by a few dollars! HUGE savings! Thanks Autoplicity! In the words of Arnold, "I'll be back!"

Fast shipping, Great prices. After ordering, they sent out an email stating some items ordered may ship from the manufacturer. So, I was thinking item may take a few weeks to get. The next day I recieved email with tracking numbers saying item has shipped. So I was think ups ground 5 days maybe. I check on tracking numbers and items was out on truck for deliver. Nice! Ordered on Weekend got item on Tuesday.
