The Cometic C4262-060 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Subaru EJ22E engine. This precision-manufactured gasket features a 98mm bore diameter and .060" compressed thickness, providing exceptional sealing performance for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior strength and durability
• 98mm bore diameter designed for Subaru EJ22E engines
• .060" (1.52mm) compressed gasket thickness
• Advanced embossment design ensures optimal sealing under extreme conditions
• Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and withstands high temperatures
• Viton rubber coating provides enhanced sealing and chemical resistance
• Engineered to handle high cylinder pressures in turbocharged and high-compression applications

Cometic MLS head gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with proprietary coatings to create a gasket that can withstand extreme thermal cycling and combustion pressures. The layered design allows the gasket to conform to imperfections in the sealing surfaces while maintaining excellent recovery properties. This makes the C4262-060 an ideal choice for engine builders seeking reliable performance in demanding applications.
