Product Details

The Cusco Type OS Rear Strut Tower Bar is engineered to increase chassis rigidity and improve handling performance. This rear strut bar utilizes Cusco's signature oval shaft design, featuring a lightweight aluminum center bar with an engineered oval cross-section that provides an optimal balance between strength and weight reduction.

Key Features:

  • Type OS (Oval Shaft) design with lightweight aluminum construction
  • Oval cross-section center bar engineered for maximum rigidity while minimizing weight
  • Steel end plate brackets finished in trademark Cusco blue
  • Vehicle-specific design ensures precise fitment
  • Reduces strut tower flex during cornering and hard acceleration
  • Helps maintain proper suspension alignment under load
  • Bolt-on installation with no modifications required

Strut tower bars work by connecting the left and right strut towers, preventing them from flexing independently during spirited driving. This increased rigidity translates to improved steering response, better cornering stability, and more predictable handling characteristics. The internal design of the oval piping is optimized to deliver high strength without unnecessary weight, while the powder-coated steel brackets provide durable mounting points that won't flex under stress.
