Product Details

The Cusco 542 540 A is a Type-OS (Oval Shaft) front strut tower brace designed for Mitsubishi vehicles including the Outlander (CW5W), RVR (GA3W), and Lancer Evolution models. This performance suspension component connects the strut towers to reduce chassis flex during aggressive driving and cornering.

Key Features:

  • Oval cross-section aluminum center bar provides optimal balance of light weight and strength
  • Steel end plate brackets finished in signature Cusco blue for precise fitment
  • High-rigidity tubular aluminum construction with high-polish finish
  • TYPE-1 bar shape design engineered specifically for application
  • Simple bolt-on installation using factory mounting points

Cusco strut bars eliminate chassis flex at critical suspension mounting points, preventing misalignment during high cornering loads. The lightweight aluminum oval shaft design delivers maximum rigidity while minimizing weight, and the trademark Cusco blue end plates ensure flawless vehicle-specific fitment. This front strut brace helps maintain proper suspension geometry, improving handling response, stability, and overall driving dynamics.
