EBC DP33040C Redstuff Low Dust Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set

The EBC Redstuff DP33040C is a low dust ceramic brake pad set built for fast street driving. EBC says the compound cuts brake dust by 60-90 percent and contains no steel fibre particles, so the small amount of dust that remains washes off easily with a sponge.

Key Features:

• Synthetic fibre based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles
• Strong braking from cold that improves as the pads heat up
• Lasts longer, brakes better and runs quieter than EBC's earlier pre-ceramic Redstuff compound
• Produces far less dust than semi-metallic pads
• EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions the rotor surface and speeds up pad bed-in
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5
• EBC states that most of its Red Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation

Bed-in note: This is a hard wearing pad, so bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles while the pad takes up the shape of the rotor. Be patient during this period.

A good choice for drivers who want a fast road pad that handles repeated heavy braking while keeping wheels cleaner.
