EBC DP32228C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Disc Brake Pad Set

The EBC Redstuff DP32228C is a low dust ceramic brake pad set designed for fast street use. It uses a synthetic fiber based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, and it contains no steel fibre particles. This helps cut brake dust, and the small amount of dust that remains can be cleaned off wheels with a simple sponge wash.

Key Features:

• Dust reduction of 60-90 percent, according to the manufacturer's description
• Synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles, with no steel fibre particles
• Strong braking from cold that improves as the pads heat up
• EBC Brake-In surface coating that conditions the rotor surface and speeds up pad bed-in
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5
• Designed to last longer, brake better and run quieter than the earlier pre-ceramic Redstuff compound
• Fast road pad suited to repeated heavy braking

Bed-In: This is a hard wearing pad, so bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles while the pad takes up the shape of the disc (brake rotor). Patience during this period is part of getting the best results.

Compared with semi-metallic pads, Redstuff emits far less dust. EBC states that most of its Red Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation.
