The McLeod Original Street Twin is the clutch kit that started it all. Born in 1974 in response to the growing popularity of power adders, this dual-disc clutch system was engineered to deliver genuine street manners while handling up to 1,200 horsepower. It remains the benchmark twin-disc clutch for high-horsepower Small Block and Big Block Chevrolet builds.

This kit (part number 6400107M) is configured for Chevrolet applications with a 1-1/8" x 26-spline input shaft and features a billet steel flywheel with a 168-tooth ring gear. The twin 10.5" organic clutch discs provide smooth, progressive engagement that remains comfortable in daily street driving, while the diaphragm-style pressure plate delivers consistent clamping force under high-load conditions.
