Product Details

The Forney 20865 is a professional-grade helical flute screw extractor designed to remove broken screws, bolts, and threaded parts without damaging the surrounding material. This #6 size extractor features a spiral flute design that bites into the damaged fastener as you turn it counterclockwise, providing reliable extraction even when the head is completely broken off.

Key Features:

  • Helical flute design grips and extracts damaged fasteners
  • Ideal for removing broken screws, bolts, and threaded pipe sections
  • Requires 13/32" pre-drilled pilot hole
  • Works with standard wrench or tap handle
  • Hardened steel construction for durability

Specifications:

  • Extractor Size: #6
  • Required Drill Size: 13/32"
  • Screw/Bolt Size Range: 3/8" - 1"
  • Pipe Size: 3/8"
  • Metric Size Range: 20mm - 24mm

To use, drill a pilot hole into the center of the broken fastener using the specified drill bit size, insert the extractor into the hole, and turn counterclockwise with a wrench or tap handle. The spiral flutes bite into the metal and back out the damaged part. Also effective for turning and removing threaded pipe sections.

price seems okay . .

Great company to deal with. I placed an order with them (albeit an incorrect shipping address) and before you know it I'm expecting delivery in a very short amount of time. I also did have to call and attempt to correct my address error when the customer service rep let me know that all is well and set to be delivered to the correct address. I appreciate the fact that the gentleman on the other end of the phone was reassuring, courteous, and professional. I'd certainly do business with them again as the prices and customer service can't be beat!

Order #30897. Ordered on Monday, received on Thursday. Exactly what I needed. Can't ask for anything more. Definitely will look at Autoplicity again when I need more parts!

Great so far.

Awesome! Would do business with again.

Autoplicity beat everyone's price even with the shipping on an item that no one else had in stock, but still listed.
