Product Details

The MSD ASY17296 is a replacement ignition wiring harness designed specifically for the MSD 6ALN ignition control units (PN 6401 and PN 6430). This harness features a 6-pin Weathertight connector that meets NASCAR ignition wiring rule 20-6.1, making it a go-to choice for sanctioned circle track and racing applications.

The 6-pin Deutsch/Weathertight connector design provides a secure, positive-locking connection with individual pin seals to protect each circuit from dirt and moisture — critical in demanding motorsport environments. Primary wiring meets MIL-86A specifications with tinned conductors for superior crimp integrity and long-term reliability.

Key Features:

  • Purpose-built replacement harness for MSD 6ALN ignition controls (PN 6401 / PN 6430)
  • 6-pin Weathertight connector compliant with NASCAR ignition wiring rule 20-6.1
  • Individual pin seals keep dirt and moisture out of each connection
  • Primary wiring meets MIL-86A specifications with tinned conductors
  • Sold individually

Whether you're building a fresh race car or replacing a worn harness on an existing setup, the MSD ASY17296 ensures a clean, code-compliant connection between your ignition box and the rest of your electrical system.
