Product Details

The Blue Ox BX1670 is a tow bar base plate designed for flat towing behind a motorhome or RV. Engineered to Blue Ox's exacting standards, this base plate provides a secure, reliable connection point between your towed vehicle and your tow bar, giving you the confidence you need on the road.

Key Features:

  • Removable Attachment Tabs – Tabs detach when not in use for a clean, unobtrusive front-end appearance
  • Install Rating 3 – Moderate installation complexity; professional installation recommended
  • Blue Ox Compatible – Designed to work with Blue Ox tow bars and safety cable systems
  • Durable Construction – Built to withstand the rigors of flat towing and highway use
  • Precise Fit – Engineered specifically to match the mounting points of the Chevrolet Impala

Blue Ox base plates are among the most trusted in the flat towing industry. The BX1670 installs using existing vehicle mounting points, minimizing modifications to your vehicle. When the attachment tabs are removed, the front fascia retains a near-factory look. Compatible with Blue Ox tow bar systems including the Avail, Aventa LX, and Alpha.
