GPD 3411302 A/C Automatic Adjusting Orifice Tube

The GPD 3411302 is an automatic adjusting A/C orifice tube designed as a drop-in replacement for OE standard fixed orifice tubes, compatible with both R12 and R134a refrigerants. This innovative component provides increased A/C system cooling performance at slow speeds, stop-and-go traffic, and hot climate conditions, while reducing A/C compressor load to help extend compressor life, improve fuel economy, and lower emissions.

Key Features:

• Durability tested on every new design
• Individually packaged to prevent contamination
• Leak tested for reliability
• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function
• No modification required to the A/C system
• Contains necessary o-rings and gaskets to seal high pressure from low pressure

The expansion valve/orifice tube is designed to slow the refrigerant before the evaporator, making the most of the refrigerant's cooling capability. GPD recommends changing the expansion valve/orifice tube each time the A/C system is serviced. Orifice tubes serve as the divide between the high and low pressure sections of the A/C system.
