Product Details

The Marshall Excelsior MEGR298L is a compact two-stage propane regulator that combines both a high-pressure first stage and a low-pressure second stage regulator into a single unit. This low capacity model is approved for use in portable applications and outdoor cooking appliances utilizing low pressure, making it ideal for RVs, campers, and outdoor propane systems.

Key Features:

  • All zinc die-cast body construction with powder coating for corrosion resistance and durability
  • 1/4 inch FNPT inlet x 3/8 inch FNPT outlet connections
  • 175,000 BTU capacity rating
  • Outlet pressure of 11 inches W.C. (0.5 PSI) for consistent low-pressure delivery
  • High and low 1/8 inch NPT pressure tap ports for monitoring system pressure
  • Integral second stage drip lip vent with 90-degree vent location
  • Designed for horizontal mounting applications

The two-stage design ensures a smooth and continuous flow of gas to all appliances, providing superior pressure regulation compared to single-stage regulators. This regulator meets RVIA, UL, and NFPA test requirements, ensuring safe and reliable operation for your propane system.
