Product Details

The Injen SP1116P is a high-performance short ram air intake system engineered to deliver significant power gains for BMW's S55 turbocharged engine platform. This intake system features Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion design, representing decades of research and development in intake tuning. Dyno-tested results show gains of up to 20 horsepower and 23 lb-ft of torque while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios throughout the powerband.

Key Features:

  • Precision-engineered 6061-T6 aluminum intake tubing provides smooth, unrestricted airflow
  • Dual custom heat shields designed specifically for the S55 engine bay
  • Fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter (replacement filter: X-1081-BB)
  • Aggressive throaty engine tone under acceleration
  • No additional tuning or calibration required
  • Available in multiple finish options for personalized appearance
  • Made in Pomona, California, USA
  • Backed by Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty

This direct-fit intake system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with an optimized air delivery path that allows the turbocharged S55 engine to breathe more efficiently. The included SuperNano-Web dry filter offers increased surface area for superior filtration and airflow compared to traditional filter designs, and can be easily cleaned and reused for the life of your vehicle.
