Product Details

The FMF 040678 Factory 4.1 RCT Quiet Insert is a replacement spark arrestor screen insert designed for FMF Factory 4.1 and Factory 4.1 RCT mufflers. This 94dB-rated insert effectively reduces exhaust noise levels while trapping hot exhaust particles to meet spark arrestor requirements for off-road and trail riding.

Key Features:

 • Stainless steel construction for durability and heat resistance
 • 1-1/2 inch diameter design fits Factory 4.1 RCT mufflers
 • 94dB sound rating meets most trail and forest service noise restrictions
 • Includes spiral retaining ring for secure installation
 • Quick and easy to install or remove for tuning purposes
 • Designed for 2016+ KTM models with FMF Factory 4.1 RCT exhaust systems

This quiet insert serves as both a tuning tool and compliance device, allowing riders to adjust power characteristics while meeting sound regulations. The insert helps broaden low-to-mid range power delivery and provides improved traction control by smoothing throttle response. When removed, the exhaust produces more top-end power but significantly increases noise output. Manufactured from premium materials to FMF's exacting standards at their Southern California facility.

So far so good, super easy payment method, tapped into my Amazon account and saved $10 over Amazon prices. We'll see if shipping and product is as described.

No issues so far. Easy ordering and checkout

No complaints. ordered a BAK Industries Truck Bed Cover BakFlip G2 for my Honda Ridgeline on 1/11/12. Package was shipped on 1/13/12 and arrived 1/18/12, delivered undamaged.

Autoplicity was cheaper than Amazon by about $40 (after shipping), and I didn't need to compromise on service. I would definately use them again.

fine

So far, so good. Easy to purchase. Good fit and speedy delivery.

Pricing is enticing
