Product Details

The Cometic C5512-120 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Ford Windsor V8 engines with a 4.060" bore diameter. This high-performance gasket features a .120" compressed thickness, making it ideal for naturally aspirated and mildly boosted applications requiring precise combustion sealing.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme conditions
  • 4.060" bore diameter accommodates overbored Windsor V8 applications
  • .120" compressed thickness for proper deck height and compression ratio tuning
  • NON-SVO design for standard Ford Windsor cylinder head configurations
  • Engineered to handle thermal expansion and contraction without losing seal integrity
  • Eliminates gasket failure from blown head gaskets in performance applications

Cometic MLS gaskets are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, creating a gasket that recovers quickly from compression and maintains consistent clamping pressure. This design makes them particularly well-suited for aluminum heads on iron blocks, turbocharged engines, and high-compression builds where OEM gaskets may fail.
